Transportation

Scarborough will please homeowners that value several modes of transportation. This part of the city is a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for pedestrians; many daily errands can be run on foot. However, biking is at times challenging in Scarborough as the bicycling infrastructure is not especially comprehensive, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes. Owing to various rapid transit stations with access to the Bloor - Danforth Line and Scarborough Line, and over 50 nearby bus lines, Scarborough is quite transit friendly. Getting around by car is also very easy in Scarborough. Parking is quite easy.

It is easy to reach the closest grocery store by walking from anywhere in this part of Toronto. Additionally, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and house buyers can enjoy over 100 cafes as well. When it comes to education, parents and their children will welcome the proximity to daycares and schools, which are within walking distance from the majority of properties for sale in Scarborough.

Character

The character of Scarborough is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. There is a good amount of greenery in this area; there are over 500 green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in, such as East Point Park and Colonel Danforth Park, resulting in them being very easy to reach from most locations within this area. In addition, residents will find that the tree canopy coverage for a large number of streets is reasonably good.
