Northland is an extremely good part of Waterloo for travelling by car. The majority of properties for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and it is especially convenient to access a place to park. However, the public transit service in Northland is not very frequent. Nevertheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Walking is not very convenient for residents in this part of the city as carrying out day-to-day needs is at times challenging. Northland is also not particularly bicycling-friendly because the area is not especially flat, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive.
