Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Ryerson is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario.


Ryerson does not demand driving as various other modes of transportation are available. Thanks to Dundas Station on the Yonge - University Line, and a few nearby bus lines, the great public transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. Ryerson is also very well-suited for those who travel by foot; all daily errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle, and many businesses are very nearby. A fair number of residents in the area use their bicycle because the cycling network is fairly good, and there is usually a bike-share station nearby.


Families will find that no matter where their home is situated in this area, daycares and schools are close by. In terms of food, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short walk away in Ryerson. In addition, thanks to approximately 20 restaurants and a few coffee shops, this neighbourhood is an excellent area in which to eat out.
