Transportation

Grandview will attract house buyers that use several methods of transportation. With Yonge / Steeles with access to the blue | VIVA BLUE, and around 10 nearby bus lines, Grandview is reasonably transit friendly. Grandview will also attract physically active home buyers because it is well-suited for walking; many daily needs can be carried out by walking, and numerous businesses are quite nearby. It is difficult to get around by bike in this area as cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of hills, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a rather short walk away in Grandview. Furthermore, Grandview is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and a limited variety of coffee shops can be found as well. It is also easy to reach a selection of clothing stores on foot. Concerning education, both primary and secondary schools are straightforward to access on foot from anywhere in this part of the city. In contrast, daycares are not especially numerous and thus may require a long walk to get to.

Character

Grandview is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. This area is quiet, as the streets tend to be peaceful - however some parts can be quite loud, especially near the railway line. Finally, it is easy to reach parks from many locations within the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out.
