The community of Point Edward can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.
Transportation
Driving is usually the favoured means of transportation in Point Edward. Parking is generally easy, and most homes for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway. This community is not very well-suited for people who prefer to travel on foot as many daily needs are challenging to carry out without a car. The bicycle is a rather limited mode of transportation in Point Edward since the area is not very flat, and the cycling network is quite bad.
Services
This area does not have any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, families may find it very difficult to access daycares without a vehicle. With respect to food, it is very rarely an option for house buyers in this community to do their grocery shopping as pedestrians.
