The neighbourhood of Cascade-Schou can be found in the city of Burnaby, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cascade-Schou enables property owners to travel by a variety of methods of transportation. This area is rather transit friendly. Property owners can count on a multitude of rapid transit stations with access to the Expo Line and Millennium Line. There are about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. It is also convenient for people travelling by foot to get around in Cascade-Schou; many daily errands can be run without a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Commuting by bicycle is easy in this neighbourhood because the bicycling infrastructure is rather well-developed.

Services

The closest supermarket in this part of Burnaby is usually only a rather short stroll away. Likewise, there are a good number of opportunities within a short distance for those who care about restaurants and cafes. It is also easy to get to a variety of clothing stores on foot. With regards to education, schools and daycares are straightforward to get to as a pedestrian from most properties for sale in this neighbourhood.

Character

Most areas in Cascade-Schou are very quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic close to Trans-Canada Highway or grandview highway. Finally, although this area is not known for its vibrancy, its busier streets are still quite energetic, and with its a few bars, there are options for nighttime activities.
