Part of the Greater Kelowna metropolitan area, Central City is a sector within Kelowna, British Columbia.


This part of the city will attract physically active people because it is reasonably well-suited for walking; most daily needs are convenient to meet on foot. This area is quite car friendly. It is straightforward to park. In contrast, commuting by transit can be difficult in Central City as a result of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, residents are served by around 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes.


A supermarket is typically accessible within a short walk from any location in this part of Kelowna. Likewise, this sector is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and property owners are served by approximately 20 cafes as well. As far as education is concerned, in Central City, families will typically be able to reach primary schools and daycares on foot. However, this sector does not contain any high schools.
