This neighbourhood presents home buyers with several alternative modes of transportation. House buyers can depend on public transit to move around in Lower Capilano Marine. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are usually nearby. Active home buyers will also welcome the pedestrian-friendly nature of this neighbourhood; many daily errands can be run without needing to use a car, and plenty of businesses are close by. This neighbourhood is not particularly bike-friendly since the cycling infrastructure is sometimes poor, and bike riders encounter a considerable amount of hills.


It is a short walk to reach daycares and primary schools from anywhere in Lower Capilano Marine. However, there are no high schools in this part of the municipality. When it comes to food, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short walk away in Lower Capilano Marine.
