Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Westview is a neighbourhood within City of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Westview is rather convenient for those who travel by walking; running common errands is easy without needing to get in a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Despite the fact that a few enjoyable areas for bicycling can be found, and cycling is prevalent, it is occasionally challenging to move around by bicycle in this part of the city since bicycle riders encounter a significant amount of slopes, and there are a limited number of bike lanes. The favoured mode of transportation in Westview is very often a car. It is easy to park, and most houses for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. In contrast, travelling by transit can be challenging in this part of the city due to the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences.

Services

In Westview, parents and their children will usually be able to access daycares and schools by foot.
