Transportation

This neighbourhood will attract house buyers that appreciate a variety of means of transportation. Owing to a few nearby bus lines, the public transit service in Central Lonsdale is good. It is also easy for people walking to get around in Central Lonsdale; carrying out day-to-day needs is convenient by walking, and numerous businesses are quite close by. Although the cycling network is good, and a few bike-friendly areas exist, it is sometimes difficult to get around by bike in this neighbourhood because cyclists encounter a considerable amount of elevation changes.

Services

Both general and specialty grocery stores are ordinarily accessible within a short walk from anywhere in Central Lonsdale. Furthermore, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe just around the corner, for instance along Lonsdale Avenue. As far as education is concerned, it is a short walk to access schools and daycares from most houses for sale in this area.

This neighbourhood is fairly good for those who need quiet surroundings, as the streets are usually reasonably tranquil - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially around Trans-Canada Highway.
