Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Tempe is a neighbourhood within City of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

The bicycle is a good method of transportation in this part of the city because this neighbourhood has fairly good cycling infrastructure. It is also easy for pedestrians to navigate Tempe; many common errands can be run without a car, and plenty of businesses are fairly close by. Tempe is very car friendly. Parking is easy, and many real estate listings are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. In contrast, public transit riders may have limited choices in Tempe due to the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and it is especially convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most houses.

Services

Both general and specialty grocery stores are typically accessible within a short trip from anywhere in this area. Moreover, there are a good number of choices for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes. It is also convenient to access a selection of clothing stores without needing a car. Regarding education, it is a short walk to access schools and daycares from most properties for sale in this area.

Character

The character of Tempe is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. There are around 30 green spaces close by for residents to enjoy, such as Greenwood Park and Princess Park, and they are especially well-distributed, resulting in them being very easy to get to from numerous locations in the neighbourhood. This area is also quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case near Trans-Canada Highway.
