The neighbourhood of Central Lonsdale can be found in the city of City of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.


This area enables homeowners to move around using a diversity of modes of transportation. Travelling on foot is practical for house buyers in this part of City of North Vancouver; running common errands is easy by walking, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity. Even though the cycling network is reasonably comprehensive, and biking is better in some sectors than others, bicycling is occasionally challenging in Central Lonsdale as cyclists are faced with a significant amount of slopes. Homeowners can count on public transit to move around in Central Lonsdale. In particular, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close. Cars are also a reasonably good mode of transportation in Central Lonsdale. Nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are very easy to drive to from anywhere in Central Lonsdale.

Reaching parks is very easy from most locations within the neighbourhood since there are about 10 of them close by for residents to unwind in. This part of City of North Vancouver is also good for those who prefer quiet surroundings, as the streets are usually tranquil - however noise can be problematic closer to Trans-Canada Highway.


About half of dwellings are small apartment buildings, making it easy to find apartments in Central Lonsdale, while large apartment buildings and townhouses are the main alternatives in the housing stock. This neighbourhood offers mainly two bedroom and one bedroom homes. There are equal parts owners and renters living in this part of the city.
