Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Westridge is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia.

Transportation

Westridge is a very good part of Burnaby for moving around by car. Parking is generally easy. The fairly good public transit infrastructure makes transit a viable option for many people thanks to a few nearby bus lines. Westridge is not particularly suitable for walking because few common errands can be run on foot. The bike is a rather limited mode of transportation in Westridge since there is a considerable amount of hills, and the bicycling network is not especially well-developed.

Services

In Westridge, families will usually be able to reach daycares and primary schools on foot. In contrast, there are no high schools in this area. Regarding food, home buyers in Westridge will appreciate that a grocery store is always only a rather short walk away. Residents of Westridge can enjoy a few restaurants as well.

Character

Westridge is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. Parks are very easy to access since there are a few of them close by for residents to explore.
