Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Westridge is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia.


The favoured approach to navigate Westridge is usually a car. It is very convenient to park. Westridge is also transit friendly. Homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. It is difficult to travel by bicycle in Westridge because there are a limited number of bike lanes, and cyclists are faced with quite a few elevation changes. Walking is also not particularly practical for property owners in this neighbourhood because meeting daily needs is sometimes difficult on foot.


Primary schools and daycares are convenient to access on foot from any location in this neighbourhood. In contrast, this part of Burnaby does not contain any high schools. When it comes to food, it is often possible for home buyers in this neighbourhood to do grocery shopping on foot. There are also a limited number of choices for those who value restaurants in close proximity.


The character of Westridge is exemplified by its calm ambience. This neighbourhood is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets are usually quite tranquil. Lastly, there are a few public green spaces close by for residents to visit, including Kensington Park and Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area, and they are very well-spread out, which makes it very easy to get to them.
