Located within the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Lochdale is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia.


Lochdale is car friendly. It is easy to park. In contrast, Lochdale is not particularly transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Lochdale is not particularly convenient for those who travel by foot because meeting daily needs is occasionally difficult by walking. Even though the cycling network is comprehensive, it is also sometimes challenging to travel by bicycle in this part of Burnaby as there is a considerable amount of hills.

On the other hand, there are no high schools in Lochdale.
