The neighbourhood of Burnaby Mountain can be found in the city of Burnaby, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.


The preferred method to navigate Burnaby Mountain is usually a car. It is especially convenient to find a place to park. In contrast, Burnaby Mountain is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Burnaby Mountain is not very suitable for walking since many daily needs are challenging to meet without the use of a vehicle. This part of Burnaby is also not very conducive to cycling because bike riders encounter a significant amount of slopes, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive.


There are only a limited number of primary schools in Burnaby Mountain and therefore they can be an extended walk away. Likewise, this area does not have any high schools. Moreover, it can be difficult to access daycares on foot.
