The neighbourhood of Chinatown is part of the city of Calgary, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.


This neighbourhood will appeal to property owners that value several methods of transportation. Chinatown is an extremely pleasant part of Calgary for pedestrians; most common errands can be run on foot, and various businesses are quite nearby. In contrast, Chinatown is not very suited for biking because. Nonetheless, the area is quite flat. Chinatown is very transit friendly. For example, there are a few bus lines, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. Cars are also a fairly good means of transportation in Chinatown. It is easy to come across a parking spot, and most real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway.


Schools and daycares are very convenient to access on foot from most homes for sale in this area. As far as eating is concerned, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short walk away in Chinatown. Additionally, there are around 30 restaurants and a few coffee shops to benefit from in Chinatown. House buyers have access to many nearby clothing stores.


No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, Chinatown is a reasonably good option. It is easy to find vibrant areas in this part of Calgary.
