Valois is a neighbourhood within Pointe-Claire, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Moving around by car is very easy in Valois. The majority of houses for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Autoroute du Souvenir, and parking is generally easy. In contrast, travelling by transit can be occasionally challenging in this area due to the low service level. Thankfully, train stations, such as the Gare Valois on the Vaudreuil-Hudson Line, are not very far-removed from the majority of houses in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Travelling by bicycle is sometimes challenging in Valois as the cycling infrastructure is rather poor. Nevertheless, there are a limited number of elevation changes. Valois is also not very well-suited for walking because running common errands is occasionally difficult without using a vehicle.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are easy to get to on foot from anywhere in this part of the city. However, it can be challenging to walk to high schools from houses for sale in this neighbourhood. This part of the city is quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several louder sections, especially around Autoroute du Souvenir or one of the railway lines.
