Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Pointe Allan is a neighbourhood within Dorval, Quebec.

Transportation

The car is very often the preferred approach to navigate Pointe Allan. The majority of homes for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Autoroute du Souvenir, and it is very easy to park. However, the public transit system in Pointe Allan is not particularly practical. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. It is impractical for people travelling on foot to get around in Pointe Allan because daily errands are sometimes challenging to run without needing to resort to a vehicle. Cycling is also challenging in this area as there are very few bike lanes. Thankfully, there are a limited number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave.

Services

In this part of Dorval, parents and their kids will generally be able to reach schools and daycares by walking. When it comes to food, the nearest grocery store in Pointe Allan is usually only a rather short walk away.
