Vaughan Grove is a neighbourhood within Vaughan, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


Driving is a great means of transportation in Vaughan Grove. Many homes for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, and finding a parking spot is generally easy. The fairly good public transit access makes transit a viable option for many people thanks to 3 rapid transit stations (Hwy 7 / Martin Grove, Hwy 7 / Kipling and Martin Grove Rd / Highway 7) on the orange | VIVA ORANGE, and a few nearby bus lines. There aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of Vaughan Grove, even though meeting daily needs is convenient on foot. This neighbourhood is also not very bike-friendly as there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and the bicycling infrastructure is rather poor.


Schools and daycares are easy to get to on foot from any location in this neighbourhood. When it comes to food, property owners in Vaughan Grove commonly have to rely on a vehicle to buy their groceries. Nevertheless, reaching the closest pharmacy and thus some staple foods is typically convenient. There are also a limited number of choices for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes.


The character of Vaughan Grove is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. Accessing green spaces in the neighbourhood, such as Thackeray Park and Vaughan Grove Sports Park, is very easy, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to discover and most homes have a park around the corner. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets are usually quite peaceful - however noise can be an issue close to Highway 407 or one of the railway lines.


Large apartment buildings are the predominant housing type, representing around 55% of buildings in Vaughan Grove, and the remainder are mainly single detached homes. This neighbourhood has a good choice of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Homeowners occupy about 85% of the units in Vaughan Grove and the remainder are rented.
