Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Glen Shields is a neighbourhood within Vaughan, Ontario.


Glen Shields presents property owners with the choice between various means of transportation. This area has a good public transit infrastructure as a result of Centre / Dufferin on the orange | VIVA ORANGE, and a few nearby bus lines. Commuting by bicycle is also easy in this area because there are a fair number of bike lanes. Walking is not very popular in this area, although running daily errands is convenient. In contrast, the car is very often the best method of transportation in Glen Shields. Coming across a parking spot is easy, and it is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 407, from any location in Glen Shields.


Primary schools and daycares are straightforward to reach on foot from most homes for sale in Glen Shields. On the other hand, Glen Shields does not contain any high schools. Concerning eating, a supermarket is generally reachable within a rather short walk from most houses for sale in this part of Vaughan.


Glen Shields is a good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience.
