The neighbourhood of St. Lawrence is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

St. Lawrence permits house buyers to move around by various methods of transportation. The great public transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a vehicle. More specifically, rapid transit stations, including King Station on the Yonge - University Line, are not very far away from the greater part of residences in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is served by around 10 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close. St. Lawrence is also very well-suited for walking; all common errands can be run without needing to resort to a car, and various businesses are very close by. St. Lawrence is very conducive to bicycling as bike-share stations are never more than a short distance away, there are a good number of bike lanes, and riding is made easier by the generally flat terrain.

Services

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short walk away in this area. Wellington Street is among the best streets for groceries. In addition, with 100-odd restaurants and cafes in St. Lawrence, there is almost always a place to get a meal or a beverage just around the corner. It is also very easy to reach a number of clothing stores on foot. With regards to education, it is a very short walk to access schools and daycares from any location in St. Lawrence.

Character

St. Lawrence is a great part of Toronto for home buyers who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. Finding dynamic streets in this part of the city is especially easy. There is a great variety of entertainment venues, the streets are almost always busy with people, and with its a few bars, there are options for nighttime activities. Greenery is not very prominent in this part of Toronto; however, green spaces are especially well-distributed and there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to explore, which makes it very easy to get to them from the majority of locations within this neighbourhood.

Housing

About 60% of the population of this neighbourhood rent their home whereas the remainder are owners. Almost all buildings are large apartment buildings, making it easy to find apartments in this area, but townhouses are also present in the housing stock.
