The neighbourhood of Langstaff is part of the town of Richmond Hill, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of Richmond Hill provides homeowners with several alternative modes of transportation. Owing to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations on the purple | VIVA PURPLE, orange | VIVA ORANGE and blue | VIVA BLUE, and about 20 nearby bus lines, Langstaff is transit friendly. It is also convenient for pedestrians to navigate Langstaff; many day-to-day needs can be met on foot. Langstaff is not particularly appropriate for biking because cyclists are faced with a significant amount of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor.

Services

Parents and their kids will welcome that wherever their home is situated in Langstaff, daycares and primary schools are close by. On the other hand, families may consider it challenging for their children to reach high schools as a pedestrian. Regarding food, it is convenient to access both a general and a specialty grocery store on foot from any home in Langstaff.
