Transportation

The preferred transportation option in Amberlea is usually driving. It is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway from anywhere in this area, and parking is generally easy. However, the public transit system in this part of Pickering is not very practical. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most residences are near a bus stop. Walking is not particularly feasible for home buyers in Amberlea since running daily errands is at times difficult. Amberlea is also not very cycling-friendly as there are a fair number of slopes, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.
