Transportation

The best way to get around in Farewell is usually a car. The majority of properties for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, and parking is quite easy. However, the public transit network in Farewell is not very practical. Thankfully, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Farewell, even though running common errands is convenient by walking.

Services

In Farewell, parents and their schoolchildren will usually be able to access primary schools and daycares on foot. However, this part of the city does not contain any high schools. In terms of eating, accessing the closest supermarket on foot is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in this part of Oshawa.
