The neighbourhood of Central Oakville is part of the town of Oakville, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


Central Oakville will appeal to physically active house buyers since it is quite conducive to walking; carrying out daily needs is easy. However, this area is not very appropriate for biking as there is a significant amount of slopes, and this part of Oakville has a fairly poor bicycling infrastructure. Travelling by public transit is sometimes difficult in this area. Nonetheless, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, Central Oakville is very car friendly. The majority of homes for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and accessing a place to park is easy.


The nearest supermarket in this part of Oakville is generally only a short walk away.
