Western Business Park is a neighbourhood within Mississauga, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto metropolitan area.

Transportation

Western Business Park is especially car friendly. Parking is quite easy, and the city block layout is reasonably well suited for cars. In contrast, travelling by public transit is sometimes difficult in Western Business Park. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. Despite the fact that certain bike-friendly pockets exist, the bike is a rather poor mode of transportation in this area as there are a good number of elevation changes, and this neighbourhood has a rather limited cycling infrastructure. It is also challenging for pedestrians to move around in Western Business Park as few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

It is often feasible for home buyers in this part of Mississauga to do groceries on foot. A limited variety of restaurants and cafes is available as well. With regards to education, both primary and secondary schools are easy to walk to from most homes for sale in Western Business Park. However, there are only a few daycares and therefore they can be a rather long walk away.

Character

There is a broad selection of green spaces in Western Business Park. Public green spaces, such as Brookmede Park, are very well-distributed and there are a few of them close by for residents to relax in, which makes it easy to get to them. Finally, it remains relatively serene in this neighbourhood, since there are very few pedestrians.

Townhouses are the predominant housing type, representing about 45% of buildings in this neighbourhood, while large apartment buildings and single detached homes are also present in the housing stock. About 40% of properties in this area were built between 1980 and 1990, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1990s. This neighbourhood has a good variety of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
