The neighbourhood of Laurentian Hills can be found in the city of Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.


Laurentian Hills is reasonably cycling-friendly because the bicycling network is very extensive. This area is also a fairly pleasant part of Kitchener for pedestrians; many daily errands can be run without the use of a car. This part of the city is not particularly transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. On the other hand, driving is an excellent transportation option in Laurentian Hills. Many real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 7, and it is easy to park.


It is typically practical for house buyers in this part of the city to do their groceries on foot. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes. In terms of education, parents and their kids will value the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from the majority of homes for sale in this neighbourhood.

This area also has a good variety of housing size options - properties range from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Around 55% of the properties in this part of the city were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 2000s.
