Getting around by bicycle is easy in this part of Kitchener as Fairfield boasts a very good cycling infrastructure. Walking is also practical for house buyers in this neighbourhood; many common errands can be run without needing to use a car. The preferred approach to navigate Fairfield is usually driving. It is straightforward to park, and it is a short car ride to the closest highway, such as Highway 85, from anywhere in Fairfield. However, residents using public transit may find few options in this area as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop.
