This area is not very cycling-friendly because there is a considerable amount of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is rather limited. Grimsby Beach is also not very conducive to people who get around as pedestrians as very few common errands can be run without needing a vehicle.

Services

With respect to education, it is a short trip to access primary schools and daycares from most houses for sale in Grimsby Beach. On the other hand, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools.

Character

Grimsby Beach offers a slower-paced environment. Grimsby Beach is very quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic closer to Queen Elizabeth Way. It is very hard to get to parks from most locations within the neighbourhood since they aren't well-distributed. Despite that, there are about 20 public green spaces nearby for residents to check out.

Housing

The sizeable percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of Grimsby Beach is an important part of its character. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly 95% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 5% are rented. Around 30% of homes in this part of Grimsby were constructed in the 1980s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s.
