Transportation

No matter the mode of transportation, it is very straightforward to move around in this part of Toronto. With various nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and around 30 nearby bus lines, this neighbourhood is a very pleasant part of Toronto for travelling by public transit. Many of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also very suitable for pedestrians; meeting daily needs is very easy without the use of a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses close by. This part of the city will appeal to active home buyers because it is reasonably suitable for cycling. In particular, the cycling infrastructure is rather extensive, and there is generally a bike-share station close by.

However, there is a large amount of greenery in this area; it is very easy to reach parks in the neighbourhood since there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to unwind in. Residents will also find that numerous tree-lined streets are present. Finally, even though the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this neighbourhood, the vibe is still quite energetic around its busier streets, and with its a few nightlife venues, there are options for nighttime activities. Roncesvalles Avenue in particular offers a fairly good selection of nightlife.
