Middle Cape

The community of Middle Cape is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred method of transportation in Middle Cape is very often a car. It is especially convenient to access a place to park. Biking is at times challenging in this community since the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and the topography is not especially flat. This part of the municipality is also not very suitable for people who prefer to travel as pedestrians because almost no daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

Middle Cape does not have any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, families may consider it very hard to access daycares as pedestrians. When it comes to eating, it is very rarely practical for property owners in Middle Cape to buy their groceries by walking.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Middle Cape. Although this part of the municipality is not home to any parks, public green spaces are distributed sporadically in nearby communities, making it very easy to reach them. The noise levels in this area are also quite low, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Housing

About 30% of properties in Middle Cape were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
