Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in this part of the city. Most of the street infrastructure is made for cars, and parking is generally easy. In contrast, The Mint is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. The Mint is not very convenient for those who travel by foot since very few daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in The Mint. In addition, families may consider it challenging for their children to reach daycares as a pedestrian. With regards to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to purchase groceries.

Character

There is a great variety of green spaces in The Mint. There are a few public green spaces close by for residents to unwind in and they are especially well-situated, resulting in them being easy to get to from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood. It is relatively serene in this part of the city, thanks to the presence of very few people out and about on the streets.

A majority of the housing growth in this area happened between 1960 and 1980. Renters occupy around 60% of the properties in The Mint whereas the rest are occupied by owners.
