Killarney presents home buyers with the choice between a variety of modes of transportation. The good public transit access makes transit a viable option for many people by reason of a few nearby bus lines. Physically active property owners will also enjoy the reasonably pedestrian-friendly character of this part of the city; meeting daily needs is convenient. Moving around by bicycle is convenient in this neighbourhood as there are a good number of bike lanes.


Families will value that wherever their home is located in this part of Vancouver, primary schools are nearby. However, it can be challenging to reach high schools on foot. Concerning eating, it is easy to get to the nearest grocery store on foot in Killarney. Furthermore, those who like to eat in restaurants will have a fair number of options, and there are also a few cafes in this part of the city.
