Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Collingwood is a neighbourhood within Vancouver, British Columbia.


Collingwood offers homeowners several alternative means of transportation. It is easy for pedestrians to move around in this part of the city; many day-to-day errands can be run without needing to use a car, and numerous businesses are quite close by. It is also convenient to travel by bicycle in Collingwood since there are a large number of bike lanes. The public transit system in Collingwood is very practical thanks to 2 rapid transit stations (Joyce - Collingwood Station and 22nd Street Station) with access to the Expo Skytrain, and around 10 nearby bus lines. Travelling by car is also convenient in Collingwood since parking isn't typically too bothersome.


It is very easy to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store by walking from any home in Collingwood. Furthermore, Collingwood is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and property owners benefit from a few cafes as well. A good variety of clothing stores can also be found within a rather short walking distance.
