The neighbourhood of Brunette Creek can be found in the city of New Westminster, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.


The fairly good public transit access allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. For example, it is especially convenient to reach a nearby rapid transit station, such as Sapperton Station on the Expo Skytrain, from the bulk of properties in the neighbourhood. There are no bus circuits traversing the neighbourhood. However, travelling by foot in Brunette Creek is not very popular, despite the fact that running daily errands is convenient by walking. This neighbourhood is not very appropriate for cycling because bicycling is rendered difficult by the typically steep area, and there are a limited number of bike lanes. In contrast, Brunette Creek is especially car friendly. It is very easy to access a parking spot, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway from any location in Brunette Creek.


The closest supermarket in Brunette Creek is generally only a reasonably short walk away. Furthermore, there is often a restaurant or cafe just around the corner, for example on Columbia Street.
