South Surrey

Located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, South Surrey is a neighbourhood within Surrey, British Columbia.

Transportation

Commuting by bicycle is easy in South Surrey as there are a fair number of bike lanes. Traveling by foot is also moderately feasible for residents in this part of Surrey; many daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle. The public transit in South Surrey is fairly poor. Nonetheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is especially convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. In contrast, moving around by car is very easy in South Surrey. It is easy to park, and it is a rather short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 99, from any location in this part of the city.
