The neighbourhood of Norgate can be found in the municipality of District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

It is easy for people travelling on foot to get around in this part of District of North Vancouver; many day-to-day errands can be run without a car, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. Active property owners will also be pleased with the reasonably bike-friendly nature of Norgate. For example, the bicycling infrastructure is well-developed. Driving is very often the favoured way to move around in Norgate. It is a rather short car ride to the closest highway from any home in this part of District of North Vancouver, and accessing a place to park is generally easy. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be at times challenging in Norgate by reason of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by.

Services

It is very easy to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store on foot from most properties for sale in Norgate. Likewise, there is typically a restaurant or cafe in close proximity. Norgate is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the ambience of this area. Although the atmosphere is not the most lively in this part of District of North Vancouver with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located close by. Norgate is especially quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. The majority of locations in the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to public green spaces, like Klahanie Park, since there are around 20 of them close by for residents to discover.

Housing

In Norgate, roughly half of buildings are single detached homes, whereas the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings.
