Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Central Lonsdale is a neighbourhood within City of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Central Lonsdale allows homeowners to move around using different methods of transportation. The good transit system allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car as a result of approximately 10 nearby bus lines. Central Lonsdale is also very suitable for those who like to travel on foot; many day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are reasonably close by. Riding a bike is popular in Central Lonsdale since the bicycling infrastructure is rather extensive.

Services

Schools and daycares are very easy to reach as a pedestrian from anywhere in Central Lonsdale. In this area, about 40% of buildings are small apartment buildings, whereas the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings. The proportions of renters and homeowners are about even. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of two bedroom and one bedroom homes.
