Dallas is a neighbourhood within Kamloops, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Kamloops metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in Dallas. The majority of houses for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. However, public transit riders may have very limited options in Dallas due to the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically a short walk away. Travelling on foot is not very practical for residents in this neighbourhood since most daily needs are impractical to carry out without the use of a car.

Services

Some, but not all, house buyers in Dallas will live within walking distance of the nearest supermarket. Residents of Dallas benefit from a few restaurants as well. With regards to education, there are only a few primary schools in this neighbourhood and therefore they can be an extended walk away. Likewise, Dallas does not contain any high schools. In addition, daycares are not plentiful and accordingly not always within walking distance.

There is a great variety of green spaces in Dallas. It is easy to access green spaces from numerous locations in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in. It remains relatively serene in this part of the city, due to the presence of very few pedestrians.

This part of Kamloops experienced its biggest building boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available properties are from this time period.
