This area presents homeowners with several alternative means of transportation. Owing to NAIT Station on the Metro Line, and about 10 nearby bus lines, the public transit service in this neighbourhood is good. It is also easy for pedestrians to move around in Blatchford Area; most daily needs are convenient to meet by walking, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. This part of the city is suited for cycling as the bicycling network is fairly good, and there are a limited number of slopes for cyclists to brave.
