The neighbourhood of Signal Hill can be found in the city of Calgary, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.


The favoured way to get around in Signal Hill is often driving. It is straightforward to find a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit system in Signal Hill is not very practical. Nevertheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. Cycling is difficult in this neighbourhood because. Thankfully, riding is made easier by the generally flat terrain. Travelling by foot in Signal Hill is also not very popular, even though most daily needs are easy to meet without having to use a vehicle.


Some, but not all, home buyers in this part of the city will live within walking distance of the closest grocery store. Residents can enjoy approximately 30 restaurants and cafes as well. Regarding education, it is a reasonably short walk to access daycares from anywhere in this part of Calgary. In contrast, there are only a limited number of primary schools in Signal Hill and thus they can be a rather long walk away. In addition, Signal Hill does not contain any high schools.
