The neighbourhood of Hampton Village is part of the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, which is situated in the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area.

Transportation

The best method to navigate Hampton Village is usually a car. Parking is generally easy. On the other hand, public transit riders may have limited choices in Hampton Village due to the infrequent service. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Hampton Village is bike-friendly as riding a bicycle is facilitated by the generally flat terrain, and there are a good number of bike lanes. This part of Saskatoon is not very well-suited for people who travel by foot since many daily needs are sometimes difficult to meet without the use of a car.

Services

In this neighbourhood, families will almost always be able to get to primary schools and daycares without a car. In contrast, Hampton Village does not contain any high schools. As far as eating is concerned, home buyers in this area often have to use a car to shop for groceries. Nevertheless, pharmacies are generally very easy to reach as a pedestrian and provide some basic food items. Those who like to eat in restaurants will have a fair number of opportunities, and a limited variety of cafes can be found as well.

Character

Hampton Village is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. There are around 20 green spaces nearby for residents to visit, such as A. McDonald Park and City of Saskatoon Greenhouse and Nursery, and they are very well-situated, which results in them being easy to get to from numerous locations within Hampton Village. The noise levels in this area are also very low, as the streets are usually very tranquil.

In Hampton Village, roughly two thirds of dwellings are single detached homes, while duplexes make up most of the remaining housing stock. A majority of the housing growth in this area has taken place after the year 2000. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Around 85% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 15% are occupied by renters.
