Part of the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area, Briarwood is a neighbourhood within Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Transportation

Briarwood is very car friendly. It is convenient to park, and many homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. However, the public transit service in Briarwood is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. Getting around on foot is not particularly feasible for home buyers in Briarwood since few daily needs can be carried out without needing to use a vehicle. On the other hand, this area is bicycling-friendly as there are not many elevation changes to confront cyclists, and there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

The nearest grocery store in Briarwood is generally only a reasonably short distance away. Additionally, this part of Saskatoon is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and there are also a few cafes in Briarwood. This neighbourhood experienced its main construction boom following the year 2000, so most of the available properties are from this time period. This neighbourhood is especially good for those looking for four or more bedroom homes.
