Part of the Greater Regina metropolitan area, Maple Ridge is a neighbourhood within Regina, Saskatchewan.

Transportation

Cars are a reasonably good medium of transportation in this neighbourhood. Accessing a parking spot is easy. However, Maple Ridge is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is especially convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. The bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in Maple Ridge because there are a limited number of elevation changes. This part of the city is not particularly suitable for pedestrians because most daily needs are challenging to meet without a car.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are straightforward to reach as a pedestrian from any location in Maple Ridge. On the other hand, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools. Regarding food, house buyers in Maple Ridge will be pleased to learn that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away. A limited selection of restaurants and cafes is available as well.

The substantial percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of this neighbourhood is an important part of its character. This neighbourhood also has a selection of housing size options - however this part of Regina is especially good for those looking for four or more bedroom homes.
