Godin Park

Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Godin Park is a neighbourhood within Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec.


Getting around by car is especially convenient in Godin Park. Parking is quite easy, and nearby highways, such as Autoroute du Souvenir, are especially easy to reach from any location in this area. With Gare Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue on the Vaudreuil-Hudson Line, and a few nearby bus lines, Godin Park also has a reasonably good public transit infrastructure. This part of the city is not very amenable to cycling because there are few bike lanes, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes. This part of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue is also not very conducive to those who travel by foot since common amenities such as hardware stores or hair salons can be an extended walk away.


It is a rather short walk to get to secondary schools and daycares from any location in Godin Park. In contrast, Godin Park does not have any primary schools. In terms of food, it is very easy to access the nearest grocery store by walking from any home in this neighbourhood.


One of the highlights of Godin Park is its broad selection of green spaces. To be more precise, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to discover, which makes it very easy to get to them. Moreover, residents will find that numerous tree-lined streets are present. As there are very few pedestrians, this neighbourhood is relatively quiet.


In Godin Park, about 40% of buildings are small apartment buildings, and the remaining dwellings are mainly single detached homes and townhouses. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood happened before the 1960s. This part of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue is primarily composed of three bedroom and two bedroom homes.
