Terra Cotta Park is a neighbourhood within Pointe-Claire, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.


With Gare Pointe-Claire on the Vaudreuil-Hudson Line, and a few nearby bus lines, Terra Cotta Park is reasonably transit friendly. In contrast, walking in this part of Pointe-Claire is not very popular, even though most daily needs are convenient to carry out by walking. Bicycling is at times challenging in this part of the city because the cycling infrastructure is not particularly well-developed, and travelling by bicycle is rendered strenuous by the typically hilly terrain. However, the car is usually the favoured approach to move around in this area. It is especially convenient to park, and it is a short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute du Souvenir, from any location in this area.


Some, but not all, house buyers in this part of the city will reside within walking distance of the closest supermarket. A small variety of restaurants is available in Terra Cotta Park as well. In terms of education, it is a rather short walk to access schools and daycares from most houses for sale in this area.


Terra Cotta Park offers a slower-paced ambience and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. There is a fair amount of greenery in this part of the city as numerous tree-lined streets are present. There are a few green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in and they are very well-distributed, which results in them being easy to get to from the majority of locations in this part of the city. This neighbourhood is also reasonably quiet, as the streets are usually quite calm - although there are still several louder sections, especially near Autoroute du Souvenir or one of the railway lines.


In Terra Cotta Park, roughly 40% of dwellings are large apartment buildings, whereas the rest are mainly single detached homes and townhouses. This part of the city has a good selection of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. The proportions of homeowners and renters are about even. The homes in this part of the city are quite old, since about 40% of its dwellings were built pre-1960, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s.
