The borough of Ville-Marie is part of the city of Montréal, Quebec.


Ville-Marie will appeal to house buyers that use a variety of methods of transportation. This borough is an extraordinarily pleasant part of Montréal for moving around by public transit due to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Orange Line, Green Line and Yellow Line, and over 100 nearby bus lines. It is also very easy for pedestrians to get around in Ville-Marie; all day-to-day errands can be run without the use of a vehicle, and there are also a large number of businesses nearby. Commuting by bicycle is easy in Ville-Marie as the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good, and bike-share stations are rarely more than a few blocks away.


It is a reasonably short walk to access daycares and schools from most houses for sale in this borough. Along with public schools, there are private primary and secondary schools. As far as food is concerned, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short walk away in Ville-Marie. Additionally, thanks to 2000-odd restaurants and cafes in this part of Montréal, there is almost always a spot to get a meal or beverage just around the corner. Property owners benefit from very many clothing stores within walking distance, for example on Rue Sainte-Catherine.


Ville-Marie offers a variety of experiences for home buyers who enjoy a vibrant atmosphere and spending time in green spaces. Finding bustling places is especially easy in this area. There are numerous nearby entertainment venues, there are lots of people around most of the time, and with its over 200 nightlife venues, there are options for nighttime activities. Rue Ontario is among the most active streets in this part of Montréal. There is a fair amount of greenery in this area; it is very easy to access green spaces in the borough since there are over 50 of them close by for residents to enjoy. Moreover, residents will find that there are numerous tree-lined streets.


In Ville-Marie, roughly half of buildings are large apartment buildings, while the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings. There is a higher proportion of one bedroom homes in this borough.
