Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Connaught Park is a neighbourhood within Mont-Royal, Quebec.


Connaught Park will attract property owners that value a variety of means of transportation. Getting around by public transit is easy in this part of Mont-Royal. More precisely, there is Acadie Station on the Blue Line. The neighbourhood is served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby. It is also convenient for people travelling on foot to get around in Connaught Park; many common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. This neighbourhood is suited for bicycling because it is an even ride to most locations, and there are a fair number of bike lanes.


It is a short walk to reach schools and daycares from anywhere in Connaught Park. Regarding food, it is straightforward to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store on foot from any home in this neighbourhood. Moreover, a restaurant is usually just around the corner, and residents benefit from a few cafes as well. It is also a short walk to a very good selection of clothing stores.


Connaught Park offers a calm ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time in green spaces. The greenery in this neighbourhood is reasonably prominent as the majority of streets have good tree coverage. There are approximately 20 parks close by for residents to visit and they are especially well-situated, which makes it very easy to get to them. This neighbourhood is also quiet, as the streets are usually reasonably peaceful - although that is not the case around one of the railway lines or Autoroute Décarie.


Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing roughly 30% of dwellings in Connaught Park, and the rest are mainly large apartment buildings, small apartment buildings, and townhouses. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood took place prior to the 1960s. This part of Mont-Royal is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. About two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and renters make up the remainder.
