Lacey Green is a neighbourhood in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, which is in the province of Quebec, Canada.


Active house buyers will enjoy the quite walk-friendly nature of Lacey Green; running daily errands is convenient. However, Lacey Green is not especially suited for bicycling as the bicycling infrastructure is not particularly extensive. Nonetheless, there are a limited number of elevation changes. The public transit network in Lacey Green is not very accessible. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are typically nearby. However, Lacey Green is a very good part of Kirkland and Montréal for moving around by car. The majority of houses for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Félix-Leclerc, and it is very convenient to park.


Daycares are very easy to walk to from most houses for sale in this area. However, this part of the city does not have any primary schools or high schools. In terms of food, it is convenient to access the nearest supermarket on foot in this area. A small number of restaurants are available in this area as well.


The character of Lacey Green is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. This part of the city features a fair amount of greenery as the tree canopy coverage for the majority of streets is reasonably good. Public green spaces are especially well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit, which makes it easy to access them from many locations in the neighbourhood. This neighbourhood is also very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.


The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of Lacey Green is an important part of its character. Roughly 40% of properties in this part of the city were built between 1960 and 1980, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 1990s. This area is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Nearly all of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while the remainder are renters.
